About

David and his organization, Silent Images, have done a great service for women and girls of Africa in Voice of Beauty. This is one of the first books I have seen that accurately portrays the hope and beauty of the women and girls in Africa. The photography is stunning, and I keep a copy in the U.S. Embassy to share with all of our visitors.

MISSION
Silent Images is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that seeks to tell the stories of hope in the midst of persecution, poverty, or oppression through journalistic photography, videography, and writing. The stories and images are provided to non-profit organizations in an effort to educate and be a voice for the voiceless around the world.

What exactly does Silent Images do?

1. We mobilize professional photographers to serve other non-profit organizations and churches by offering them our services at low cost or for free.

2. We educate others. Our goal is to educate hundreds in order to impact thousands. Our educational tools include lectures at churches, schools, and civic groups. In addition, we use our photography to provide galleries, books and a website that raises awareness and offers a “voice for the voiceless” around the world .

3. We give back. The profit from our photography exhibits or book sales is donated back to the people we documented. Since 2007, Silent Images has donated over $75,000 to the documented people.
